The first impression shows its deep red color. The nose is complex, presenting aromas of tasty fruits such as blackberries, mulberry jam and hints of licorice. The palate is robust, firm, and ripe tannins are added to its complexity. The good balance of the oak, and the blend of the powerful flavors of these varieties together, enhance the long and delicious finish. It is a wine to keep in the cellar for the next twenty years.
