Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated liquorice and dark plum aromas mix with vanillin oak, fennel, lightly scorched earth and spice. Rich, soft and velvety the palate is filled with rich dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruit which is underpinned by vanillin cedar, scorched earth, fennel and pepper. Very polished tannins and balanced acidity provide good underlying structure. Excellent power concluding long and quite seductive.
