Cabernet Sauvignon 95%,Syrah 5%
The season started with a relatively dry winter with a cumulative rainfall of only 300 mm, almost half the level of the previous year. The temperature range in winter was between 1°C and 21°C (average of minimum and maximum temperatures), consistent with normal averages.
The region experienced a relatively warm spring with temperatures peaking at 30°C. The presence of high temperatures and low rainfall in winter was decisive in the decision to advance irrigation earlier in the spring. The high temperatures continued until summer, forcing the start of the harvest 20 days earlier than for the previous season.
The harvest took place from March 21 to 25.

TASTING NOTES (AT BOTTLING):
Deep ruby ​​red wine.
Beautifully complex nose with aromas of plum, cherry and liquorice underlined by spicy notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and white pepper. This wine offers a nice feeling of volume and a good structure on the palate, revealing ripe, pleasant tannins balanced by good concentration.
The 2017 Dix has good aging potential. Serve at 16-18°C
