The 2016 Le Dôme has an opulent bouquet of intense black cherry, crème de cassis and inkwell aromas that soar from the glass. The palate is full-bodied with a creamy texture and very smooth in the mouth, displaying a fine line of acidity. Bold, almost buxom for a Saint-Émilion. The lavish, caressing finish feels weighty and quite sturdy.
