It reveals notes of Boysen berry, pulpy/juicy cassis, small notes of fresh black berries associated with small touches of ripe redcurrant as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, fresh flowers, discreet varietal hints, a subtle hint of black cherry skin and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, round, supple and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, a beautiful definition, gourmandize and fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, pulpy Boysen berry, small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of an acidulous/crunchy redcurrant as well as hints of violet/fresh lily, a subtle hint of liquorice, a racy minerality (terroir) and black cherry. A fine salinity and appetence in the finish/persistence."
