A wonderful Rhône blend from Paso Robles that is very prototypical and this has an extra oomph of Syrah with a small dose of Counoise. Deep ruby color throughout with scattered tiny, thin legs. Nose of red fruit, sweet peppers and stale cola. Opening of red fruit favoring raspberry with black pepper, violet, oak, cola and granite. Medium bodied and medium acidity with a mellow, complex tannin structure that emerged slow and fades gracefully.
