Château Rocanguille is a family-owned property for 3 generations. It has 8 hectares of vineyards growing on a magnificent clay-limestone plateau. Vinification take progress in the tradition, same as the great Bordeaux châteaux. First, they pick the grapes at perfect maturity. Secondly, to facilitate the extraction of the tannins, they thermo-vinify the grapes immediately upon arrival in the winery. Finally, they allow the extravagant aromas to express themselves to their full capacity. Last but not least, temperature is well controlled during fermentation. As a result a great Bordeaux wine take essence worthy of a Grand Cru. Medium deep ruby red with a youthful purple hue. Floral nose offering crushed red berries, cassis and a mild spiciness. The palate has medium weight with a supple texture and ripe tannin, a gentle hint of wood and butterscotch with soft red fruit flavours and a rounded finish
