The Glenlivet Small Batch 19 year old 2.2 has been matured in a combination of 1st fill American oak barrels, 1st fill Sherry butts, and 2nd fill ex-Scotch barrels to elevate notes of Indulgent Chocolate.


TASTING NOTES:
Colour: Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and mahogany depths.

Nose: A luxurious bouquet of blackcurrant coulis, ripe figs and chocolate-covered raisins, woven with treacle tart and dark toffee, guided by warm clove and cinnamon spice.

Palate:
Juicy sultanas and bright orange zest open the palate, carrying chocolate hazelnut cream. Ginger snap biscuits and red liquorice provide zing, while candied walnuts and cinnamon bon bons mingle through to a decadent, nutty-sugary finish with warm spice.

Finish:
Opulent, long finish of rich chocolate sweetness mingling with warm spice; cinnamon and clove linger, brightened by a hint of orange zest.
