Cabernet Sauvignon 85%, Syrah 10%, Carmenere 5%
Cromas Gran Reserva is the same wine as the current Grande Réserve. Through the name Los Vascos Cromas we were inspired by the colors of nature which reflect the terroir and the know-how of the Los Vascos teams. For this new event, the 2018 vintage benefited from optimal weather conditions. The season began with a winter and a spring with moderate rainfall, providing favorable conditions for bud burst and fruit set. Temperatures remained mild throughout the season and fortunately the vineyard did not suffer from any episode of frost.

The summer was mainly marked by temperatures slightly below average, in favor of a slow ripening of the grapes. These factors combined with a fine late autumn without precipitation were decisive for the harvest calendar. Thus, they started quite late, giving the grapes time to reach perfect phenolic maturity.

TASTING NOTES (AT BOTTLING):

Intense ruby ​​red color with sparkles of garnet.
The first nose reveals aromas of fresh strawberries, red cherries, gooseberries and blue flowers. A few moments later the notes of bay leaf, tobacco, caramel and graphite make their aspirations. On the palate the wine is greedy with soft but lively tannins, leading to a long and persistent finish.
