The Connoisseur B is a Geniales vitola, which measures at 155mm with a 54 ring gauge. This hefty cigar is beautiful in appearance, wrapped with a rich Corojo leaf and filled with luxurious tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo zone. Aromas of honey and chocolate greeted us as we unwrapped this cigar, and continued as some of the initial flavours. A rich, full bodied smoke came out with a bang as soon as it was lit, and added a distinct creaminess to the palate. Additional notes of cedar, leather and nuts mingled together as this stick burned, reaching a light medium strength. There was a unique sugary and herbal twang left on the lips when we finally put it down, around the 90 minute mark.
