With the fruit coming from one of the most prized villages in the Côte des Blancs this has had a considerable amount of time in the cellar to form and develop. This is similar to what Dom Perignon and Bollinger Grande Anneé do with their wines but this has spent longer in the cellar. The nose has notes of acacia honey, toast as well as grilled hazelnuts and almonds. This flows on to the palate with stone fruit starting to emerge like yellow peach and nectarine. The long ageing creates a fine bubble and older champagne tends to have bubbles that fade. This does not impact the champagne, in fact it shows more of the wine inside.
