HERRADURA Reposado. The Original Reposado. Tequila Herradura introduced the world to Reposado in 1974 and has been setting the standard ever since. Aged longer than industry standard for 11 months, Reposado has a rich amber color with notes of cooked agave, vanilla and butter. This additional time spent resting in charred American White Oak barrels creates a smooth, sweet finish with a slight taste of spice. TASTING NOTES:. Aroma: Aromas of agave, vanilla, and caramel along with a mild hit of alcohol burn and light notes of orange peel and cedar Palate: This is a pleasantly medium bodied tequila, lightly coating the tongue and showcasing a mélange of spice notes, light oak and agave along with vanilla and a slight earthy flavor. Finish: The finish is light, with more baking spice flavors and vanilla before ending with a very pleasant agave note.
