COURVOISIER V.S. This was Napoleon’s favorite. The Chateau Courvoisier is located in Jarnac. Legend has it that Napoleon chose several barrels of Courvoisier as an item of luxury when he was exiled to Saint Helena after his defeat at the Battle of Waterloo. Courvoisier VS is a great cognac that is between three and seven years old! Inspired by the Courvoisier served at the Grand Opening of the Eiffel Tower in 1889, this cognac is deliciously smooth. Aged first in virgin French oak casks in our winegrowers’ cellars, then old cognac barrels for up to a year before a final marrying period; it boasts a daring balance of fresh, floral and fruity notes.
