Our Barrel Aged Shanghai Craft Gin has been aged for three months in a 300 liter French oak barrel, which previously housed a single vintage of Pinot Noir from Napa Valley. This allows us to present a gin which is both true to our Shanghai style and also incorporates the mellow vanilla of the oak as well as the caramel flavours flavors the pinot noir grapes. Tasting Note: Approachable and appealing, with fruity lychee and sweet honeysuckle. A cinnamon spice underpins the entire scent. Faint notes of zesty lime refresh. Mellow cherry stonefruit and vanilla from the French oak. Caramel notes from the pinot noir grapes come through, blending with the floral pepper flavours. An enjoyable piquant peppery finish which becomes dry, combining with deeper flavors of angelica and liquorice.
