Clear, deep ruby in the glass. Powerful aromas of fresh tart red cherry, black plum, cedar, and graphite. Violet flowers, dried leaves. Mouthfeel is dry, full bodied, with medium plus acidity and high, crunchy tannins that attack quickly and then ease through a long finish. Flavors of black cherry, baked red plum, cinnamon and nutmeg accentuate earthy elements like dried mushroom. This one is terrific Right Bank juice. Pair with venison stew, vegetable stew, or roast beef.
