Carmenere 100%
Cromas Carmenère Gran Reserva is the same wine as the current Carmenère Grande Réserve. Through the name Los Vascos Cromas we were inspired by the colors of nature which reflect the terroir and the know-how of the Los Vascos teams.
With this new change, the beginning of the season drier than usual, required early irrigation and careful monitoring of the vineyard. The major challenge of this vintage essentially resided in the extremely high temperatures recorded at the end of January and the beginning of February (with a peak culminating at 40.6°C).

Fortunately, the much cooler nights, with a record low of 10.2°C, made it possible to obtain high quality maturity and balance.
The harvest began on April 15 and ended on May 7.

TASTING NOTES (AT BOTTLING)

Beautiful intense color with shades of purple.
On the nose, this wine reveals aromas of fruit such as blackberry, plum and black cherry which gradually develop into notes of white pepper and herbaceous notes characteristic of this grape variety. On the palate, the tannins are soft, silky with a pleasant balance between density and acidity.
